Mission Meteorite! An ABC story!

Astute alien astronomers admire astronomical anomalies.

Baring bulky binoscopes; bizarre but benign beings behold a behemoth beam.

Carefully checking calculations, cosmic creatures confirm the comet’s cataclysmic course.

Disheartening, dreadful distress descends dully on the distant dudes of Deimos.

Empathy evokes emotion from extraterrestrial eyewitnesses.

Far flung friends fear the fireballs formidable force for fatality.

Grief gradually gives ground to genius. Great-Galactic-Gas-Giants!

Heroes have to help, but how?

Impending incineration of innocents inspires inventors’ ingenuity.

A Jumbo jet jumble jolts, and jumps.

Keen knights of kindness kiss kindred.

The lethal light lunges landward, luminaries leave loved locales.

Martian Moon Men march militantly to the missile. Mission:: mutilate the meteorite.

Numerous nations note the newscasters’ nervousness as they narrate.

Perspiration pours plentifully as the pendulum pumps perpetually.

10 . . . 9 . . . 8 . . . 7 . . . 6 . . .

Quavering qualms quit, quiet . . . quiet . . . QUAKING. . . .

5 . . . 4 . . . 3 . . . 2 . . . 1 . . .

The rocket rumbles raucously, ROARING, rapidly rising.

Sliding space-ward; seeking the salacious shooting star!

Thrills of terror and triumph take the travelers; they turn to targeting the threat.

The umber colored usurper of Utopia undulates under their muzzle

They vanquish the vivid violator, and the venture is victorious!

Wonderful waves of well-being wash over the weary wanderers.

Exhilarated and exhausted the xenophiles end the galaxy expedition.

They yearn for yards and youngsters.

Zooming, they zip into the zodiac.
